Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a press conference tomorrow, Wednesday afternoon. The Press Wing of the Prime Minister's Office confirmed this information on Tuesday.

According to the Press Wing, a press conference following Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's participation in the 73rd United Nations General Assembly will be held at the Prime Minister's official residence, Ganobhaban, at 4 pm on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home at 9:30 am on Monday country email list after attending the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Earlier, the Prime Minister left Dhaka for New York on September 21. On September 27, she addressed the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly at the UN Headquarters in Bengali and met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The Prime Minister held bilateral meetings with Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, Estonian President Kirsti Kaljulaid and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. Sheikh Hasina also attended a reception hosted by US President Donald Trump.

The Prime Minister attended several high-level events on the Rohingya crisis, cybersecurity, peacekeeping operations, women's empowerment, women's education, and the global drug problem. She also attended a luncheon and roundtable discussion hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received the prestigious 'International Achievement Award' from the international news agency Inter Press Service (IPS) during the UN General Assembly session. She was awarded the award for setting an example of humanity by providing shelter to over one million Rohingya citizens forcibly displaced from Myanmar.

Additionally, the Global Hope Coalition's Board of Directors awarded him the '2018 Special Recognition for Outstanding Leadership Award' for his visionary approach to addressing the Rohingya crisis.
