Back on May 23, NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshny announced during a briefing about new restrictions on transactions on citizens' accounts.

For transfers to individuals from card to card, a limit will be set on the amount - UAH 100,000 per month, and on the number of transactions - up to 30 transfers. Operations for crediting funds to cards will not be limited.

The reasons for such restrictions, the NBU chairman said, were the rapid growth of fraudulent transactions on accounts, as well as salary payments "in envelopes", tax evasion, withdrawal of funds abroad, for drug trafficking operations, etc.
